We will hike the Gyeryongsan National Park on Sat,10th,March! and stop by the famous Yuseong Oncheon natural hot spa village for its radium to relax muscles and get vitalized!
♣ as always we have 2 types of hike, long hike or free hike,
♣ 2 types of spa, 6K won entrancee, or outdoor foot bathing spa for free!
In march, the weather will be drastically changed to be warmer, much warmer than Feb, we will hike up the Gyeryongsan which is designated as a national park after No 1 Jirisan national Park, and regarded as holly mountain in Joseon dynasty because of its excellent Feng Shui(Theory of divination based on topography)characteristics, Gyeryongsan was argued as the capital of Joseon Dynasty! It has native broadleaves such as the Zelkova, Japanese snowbell and Mongolian oak as well as other natural plants such as the Birch and Pine.
This mountain is also known as the mecca of shamanism, every exorcists in korea believe to practice in this mountain as a most valuable career…seriously…:)
♣ Hiking trail starts at the gorgeous Donghaksa temple, ascend up the ridge and to the Nammaetop(sibling) Pagoda and 1st peak(Sambulbong peak,775 meter sea level, 4km/2Hour) after passing by valley and water fall.
Anyone want to challenge, keep hiking along the ridges to Gwaneumbong ridge,Munphilbong,Yeoncheonbong and back to Donghaksa temple.(total 9.5km/5~6hour including the 1st peak)
After this gorgeous hike of peaks and peaks, we all head to Youseong Oncheon to relax our muscle at the spa(or just foot spa),more time to food if anyone up for it!
