Yeah! Spring seems to have passed us by and now it is officially summer again~!

The end of May and and early June already feels like summer. You can see the changes in attire of the pedestrians all wearing shorts~!

Let’s go to the best place “Inje”in Gangwondo ,korea to enjoy this sweltering heat by going on an exciting white-water rafting trip to cool ourselves off in this hot and humid weather~!

There is a wonderfully clear and cool river from the waters from Seoraksan mountain area that has etched a beautiful valley where we can enjoy white-water rafting~!

A rafting boat can hold 10 people, so it will be a good opportunity to make new friends and work together as a team to stay afloat~!

The ride will be for 6~7 whole kilometers which can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, depending on how fast the water is flowing on the day of our adventure~!

You will be given a helmet and a life jacket and be directed by an instructor to paddle so that we can have a safe journey. Some parts of the river is fast, but the instructor will make sure of your safety. Everyone can enjoy this rafting event~!

This area is becoming more and more popular, so there are ATV’s available for rent along with a paintball field. So, we can arrange for groups to challenge one another if they want~! We will hide and seek and shoot in the forest, so it will be a perfect prelude to cleaning up and getting wet while river rafting~!

Zip-lining and bungee jumping is also available. The Seoul Hiking Group has gone there 5 years in a row, so we can get a very special deal~!

Let’s go as a group~! Ankle-braced bungee jumping into the river is the highest in Korea at 63 meters. (The Chungju Lake bungee jump is very similar at 62 meters.)

If you’re not interested in the rafting, you can hike along the river. There is a bridge you can cross the river with that will take you to a path that runs along the river. Make sure you bring a mat so that you can break during your hike to enjoy a peaceful time with mother nature. There’s even a snack bar along the way to fill your stomach with or you can simply drink beers along the way~!

We split into 2 teams and there will be rule how to win the other teams.we will have 3 games and got reputation that it is very most natural place to do paintball as it is located on the hill and deep forest.

this venue is located in the steep hill or mountain next to paintball and I think this is the most adventurous ATV ever(we did ATV at the beach in Muuido) to up and down the steep hill.There will be instruction guide how to ride,stop and please,listen to the safety instruction, such as needs to circle in clockwise.

bungee jumping into the river is the highest in Korea at 63 meters. The Chungju Lake bungee jump is very similar at 62 meters.Han-tan river is 52meter high.

You need to sign first,such as, there will be no disease,no responsibility when there is problem,etc, then it would take to be elevated to the place to jump. and the instructor ask to see far away , not right bottom as it makes you scary and just trust the bunjee cord and jump, then you will see in few seconds you are hanging on the cord and going down and up few times! don’t forget to ask friends to take picture of yourself!

– Change clothes ready for the exciting day~.

Arrive at Inje,riverside park.split into activities.

also, later 2PM ,everyone start rafting here after ATV,Paintball
*Anyone doesn’t choose any activities can enjoy chilling time in riverpark,walking across bridge and down the bridge. or keep walking along the road.

[Paintball or ATV or Zipline] at hill,5 minutes by bus

– Form teams for the paintballing. Instruction for ATV
-[ATV after paintball] need to pick up one,but when you choose Paintball early enough and there is no waiting line on the ATV,then you can do the ATV.But it might be exhausting as there would not be enough for lunch.
-you may ask to ride a van to riverpark , they offer for 5 minutes

– after activities, there would be some time to have snacks or lunch , there are best bibimbap restaurant next to Zipline.

[2PM~4PM] Rafting time!

[4PM] Finish rafting.

– Take a shower, change clothes.get on the bus to departs for Seoul
-drop by bunjee-jump and rest-stop ,10 minutes by bus.

[430PM] Bungee jump
– Rest-stop : grab beer and watching people bunjee-jump on the riverside

[6PM] Departure for Seoul.

-(Dongseoul Express Bus terminal at Gangbyeon stn/line2) which is the closest subway and it will be faster to move by subway to anywhere in Seoul.

– (Yongsan station and Hapjeong station)
– Arrival will be around 7, depending on traffic.
– Because of traffic jams at department store in Jamsil and express bus terminal on weekend, we will all be dropped off at the Gangbyeon station.
